Our love affair with the Golden Retriever started about 15 years ago.  It was then that we bought a beautiful little golden ball of fur named Maggie.  Maggie was with us for over 13 years, and during that time we learned a tremendous amount about the incredible gentle nature and intelligence of this wonderful breed.

Since we lost Maggie over 2 years ago, we have been seriously thinking about getting a new puppy to spoil.  We've talked with several breeders and even looked at some puppies.  We're close, but still not quite there.  Right now, it looks like next summer we'll take the plunge - for a second time.  Can't wait!

Meanwhile, we get our fix of Golden love by stopping and petting every Golden we see while out and about - and, of course, developing and maintaining this site.
